Traveloka Inaugurated Technology and R&D Center in Bangalore, India

Bangalore, 28 January 2019 – Traveloka, a leading technology company that provides online travel and lifestyle products for domestic and international destinations, today announced the inauguration of their new R&D Center in Bangalore, India.

Ferry Unardi, Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Traveloka, inaugurated the new facility in the heart of Silicon Valley of India. The event was also attended by several senior officers from Traveloka Headquarter. Bangalore center is the 6th international set up after  Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Philippine. It is also the 2nd technology office after Singapore.

Also attending the inauguration ceremony and representing Traveloka India, Prashant Verma, Vice President, Engineering Traveloka said, “I am really excited about the opportunity we have in setting up a world-class engineering organization at Traveloka Bangalore. The team here is working on some of the path-breaking platform and products in the area of discovery/user engagement and other core capabilities. This R&D office in Bangalore is a part of our commitment to bring the best minds working towards enabling our Traveloka’s next phase of growth.”

It is equipped with state of art facilities and infrastructure which will further strengthen collaboration with team internationally. India is known as one of the fastest growing technology countries in the world. This prompted Traveloka to build its Research & Development Center in Bangalore. Traveloka Bangalore has started its operation early this year and have already built a strong team of 60+ talented young engineers. Traveloka Bangalore is located in Embassy TechVillage, Devarabisanahalli, Bangalore, India. Until today, Traveloka has hired more than 500 engineers across the world.
