Traveloka Offers Hassle-Free Travel Experience with New Online Check-in Feature

JAKARTA, 14 December 2017Traveloka, a leading technology company that provides an online travel booking platform for domestic and international destinations, becomes the first online travel agent (OTA) company in Indonesia to introduce an online check-in feature which customers can access directly through Traveloka App v2.18 or higher. With this online check-in feature, Traveloka customers can now check-in for their flight prior to arriving at the airport.

This online check-in feature can be accessed by Traveloka customers in Indonesia for domestic flight services by a number of airlines, namely Batik Air, Citilink, Garuda Indonesia, Lion Air, Wings Air and Sriwijaya Air. Online check-in is available through Traveloka App starting 24 hours before the scheduled departure or subject to each airline’s policy. After a successful online check-in process, customers will receive a boarding pass, which will also be accessible through their e-ticket on  Traveloka App.

The new feature is expected to enhance customers’ convenience and productivity by enabling them to check in for their flight even prior to their arrival at the airport through the Traveloka App.

By adding this new feature, customers can travel at ease with a complete service that covers everything from their check-in process, flight rescheduling, as well as refund process, all through Traveloka App.

To use the online check-in feature, customers can simply log in to their Traveloka account and follow these simple steps:

Log in or register

Log in to your Traveloka account. If you do not have an account yet, register now using the same email used in your booking.

Open your e-ticket

Through My Booking or Online Check-in menu in the homepage, open your e-ticket and tap “Online Check-in”.

Check your check-in details

Once you have agreed to the online check-in policy, confirm your check-in details and pick your desired seat. Once completed, tap check-in to submit it.

Receive check-in information

When check-in is successful, you will be able to see your boarding pass through your e-ticket. It will also be sent to your email.

See your boarding pass

Through your e-ticket, you can see, download, or send your boarding pass to other passengers in your booking.
