Traveloka Adds Travel Insurance Option to Its Flight and Hotel Bookings

Welcoming this year-end holiday season, Traveloka, Indonesia’s fastest-growing tech company that provides online booking service for flights and hotels, has improved its service by adding travel insurance option to its flight and hotel bookings. Starting from 8 December 2015, customers can chooseto purchase travel insurance by ticking a check-box on the payment page of Traveloka’s website and mobile web. For bookings via Android and iOS mobile app, the new enhancement will be added in Q1 2016.

The travel insurance ranges from Rp12.500 to Rp52.500 and covers losses resulting from as follows: baggage and flight delay, trip cancellation, travel misconnection, loss of booking reservation, and personal accident with up to Rp300 million worth of coverage.

The new travel insurance option is provided by PT ACE Jaya Proteksi in partnership with Traveloka. Customers can make a claim by simply contacting the official ACE Jaya Proteksi call center at 1500-257 or send an email to claims.id@acegroup.com.
