Traveloka and PT KAI Inaugurated Train Tickets Booking Service at Traveloka

JAKARTA, 8 March 2017 - Traveloka, Indonesia’s leading travel booking app for domestic and international destinations, inaugurated train tickets booking service, a result of a partnership with PT KAI. Now, customers can book train tickets using Traveloka, with routes covering many cities in Java and Sumatra. Currently, the train tickets booking service can be used through Traveloka application (Android dan iOS) and mobile websites. Meanwhile, the desktop website version will be launched in the near future.

As PT KAI official partner, customers can book all the classes and subclasses provided at the Traveloka application, they can also choose the schedule and seats starting from 90 days to six hours before departure. Therefore, for the traditional homecoming (mudik) 2017, customers can book train tickets starting from March 18, 2017.

By using the Traveloka application, customers can enjoy several conveniences in booking train tickets. First, customers can choose from multiple payment options: ATM transfer and internet banking. Second, customers can conduct searches for tickets based on cities, saving them from the trouble of having to know the station names. Third, customers can directly receive their official boarding pass by scanning the barcode printed within the e-ticket in the departure station.
