During the mobile web version hotel booking service launching, Traveloka has prepared arrays of year-end holiday promo. The benefits from the hotel and flight ticket booking are expected to be even easily enjoyed through the mobile web version’s arrival. Prior to this, hotel booking at Traveloka was ably accessed only through desktop.

Traveloka’s Managing Director Ferry Unardi said “Based on Google Indonesia data, the number of smart phone users in Indonesia has reached 14% from the total population. Scrutinising the potential growth of smart phone users in Indonesia, we try to accommodate this necessity by launching mobile web version hotel booking service. We think we have done so in the right time at this fourth quarter (of 2014). Looking at Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS – Statistics Indonesia) data, it is predicted that within this quarter there will be increase on hotel occupancy by 2-5% in accordance to Christmas and New Year holiday”.

“We believe that this new feature might help customers to easily do hotel reservation without having to open desktop. Simply by using smart phones, consumers could get their choice hotel rooms. Another benefit is, reservation can be done whenever and wherever customers are” Ferry added.

Traveloka’s mobile web hotel reservation service enables users to book thousands of choice hotels in Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia directly from smart phones. On top of that, users can choose various payment methods, including ATM transfer.

Previously, Traveloka had launched flight ticket booking service by mobile application for Android and iOs users. Hotel reservation service will further be embedded into the mobile application.
