Traveloka Celebrates Bangkok and Singapore as the Most Popular Local and Foreign Destinations in 2018 and Presents the “Talk Your Trip with Traveloka” Season 3 Awards for Travel Bloggers

Bangkok – 30 March 2019 – Traveloka, a leading technology company that provides online travel and lifestyle products for domestic and international destinations, awarded ‘Bangkok’ and ‘Singapore’ as the most popular destinations in Thailand and abroad in 2018. The company also presented awards to travel bloggers who posted reviews about traveling under the online campaign of “Talk Your Trip with Traveloka Season 3” as part of Traveloka’s Travel Wonders 2019 event. Sufintri Rahayu, PR Director Traveloka HQ, also hosted the award ceremony that took place at the Great Room, BangkokMarriott Marquis Queen's Park hotel.

Natthaphon Kanjarnavoranun, Digital Marketing Manager, Thailand, Traveloka, said, “In considering Traveloka’s record of flight bookings to multiple destinations in 2018, our surveys revealed that Central: Bangkok, Northern: Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai North East: Khonkaen Udonthani, Ubon Ratchathani and Southern: Phuket Songkhla Krabi Nakhon Srithammarat were the top 10 most popular destinations in Thailand while the top 10 destinations among Thai travelers are Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Myanmar, Hong Kong, Laos and China”.

At Traveloka’s Travel Wonders 2019 event, travel bloggers and media attendees were invited to be eligible to win several awards as part of the campaign and participated in fun-filled games held at several booths to accumulate their points to win special prizes sponsored by Traveloka’s partners that include a return ticket from Bangkok to Shanghai, tickets to water parks and amusement parks in Thailand and other prizes with a total value over 800,000 baht.
